When you hear the word “movement,” you may probably automatically think of exercising, but that is not always the case. Going outside might not always seem like the most appealing thing, but the fresh air can improve your day in a way the stale air of your bedroom cannot. Make your bed
This one might sound silly, but stop leaving your bed unmade. It is common to wake up in the morning and not make your bed because “you will just mess it up again tonight,” and while that may be true, it will make your room look clean and put together, and you will start your day productively. In addition to improved productivity, making your bed will also encourage you to stay out of bed and be more active. Plus, we all know it feels better going to sleep in a nice neat bed rather than a messy unmade bed. Stop avoiding a straight-forward task just because it feels unnecessary; usually, the minor things are the most vital to your well-being.
Make time for yourself
The most important part of building your routine is making sure you have downtime. Whether it be taking a nap, reading a book or re-watching a favorite movie, having that time to do whatever you want for yourself can truly make or break your day. People tend to overlook their needs when building their routine because they feel it is not a priority to make time for themselves, when in fact it should be the biggest priority out of your entire day.
The best part about this list is that everything is one-hundred percent doable and it is all centered around your well-being. Take the time to add these tasks into your daily planner and watch as your life starts to feel more put together, because it is such a powerful feeling. Never underestimate the importance of having a set routine.
