The second annual Vigil for Unity was held on the Paseo at The University of Texas at San Antonio on Sept. 13. The vigil was held against hate and violence and to promote unity within the African American community, while honoring those who died from this violence. The Black Law Student Association, Kappa Alpha Psi, and the black community of UTSA held the Vigil for Unity. Students gathered for this event even though San Antonio was experiencing rain.
