I hope you can answer this question for me. When are they going to clean up and turn on the fountain in the Sombrilla?
This is my second semester at UTSA, and I have yet to see it flowing. I can only recall what it used to look like. I know we are in a drought, but I think it is reasonable to spare enough water to fill the fountain.
We pay a lot of additional fees to UTSA for things unbeknownst to the typical student. I paid a total of $324 for the recreation center and athletics fees this semester. I don’t intend to use the recreation center or participate in athletics. Maybe the school can put that money toward the Sombrilla.
It would be nice to hear the running water when I get to campus in the mornings instead of it being so quiet and dismal. Right now the Sombrilla kind of looks like a dump!
