Who’s voting?Members of the public, including the 30,000 students and staff members on campus. Some major employers were requested to ask their employees to vote at the UTSA early voting site: Valero Enerty, Security Service Federal Credit Union, USAA, Nustar Energy and the UT Health Science Center.
Where can you park?UTSAPD has reserved 10-12 parking spaces for early voters in front of the Main Building in parking lot 4 for convenience.
Upcoming events?U.S. Representatives Ciro Rodriguez and Patrick Kennedy will be at UTSA’s 1604 campus Oct. 21 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the University Center patio. This event is hosted by the Student Government Association as an addition to their Get-Out-the-Vote cause.
Why should you early vote?”We are trying to reach out from this office to make sure that the community knows UTSA is an early voting site,” Marianne Lewis, director of the office of public affairs, said. “It’s convenient to vote early and UTSA is a convenient site to do so.”
When can I vote at UTSA?Oct. 20-24: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.Oct. 25: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.Oct. 26: 12 p.m. to 6 p.mOct. 27-31: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
