MotoGP continued a thrilling streak of races in Austin’s Circuit of the Americas on April 14. Manufacturers KTM and Aprilia vied for top placements to pad their competitive scores in the Constructors Championship, while Ducati conserved a long string of successes.
The more interesting placements of the weekend were awarded to individual drivers. Maverick Viñales claimed a stunning victory after pulling off a long series of overtakes during the second half of the race. It was his first win racing with Aprilia and first win overall since Qatar 2021. The much-hyped rookie, Pedro Acosta, took second place. This was Acosta’s third official MotoGP race.Last but not least, Enea Bastianini was able to secure third place.
