On Oct. 23, UTSA Athletics announced that they will partner with Nike and Game One starting in 2025. All UTSA apparel dating back to 2013 has been handled by Adidas. Now, as the UTSA brand grows, the department has decided to make a supplier change.
“We are excited to partner with Nike and Game One,” Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics Lisa Campos said. “Providing each of our nearly 400 student-athletes with the very best uniforms and apparel from the preeminent brand in the industry is a top priority for us. This agreement will continue to elevate the brand recognition and visibility of both UTSA and UTSA athletics.”
This change will go into effect on June 2, 2025 and will span across six years.
“What a time to align with UTSA Athletics,” Tim McMurray, Game One Vice President of Collegiate Sales said in a statement. “With the momentum of Roadrunner Athletics — combined with a vibrant and growing campus — we appreciate what a special time it is to align three tremendous brands. Our partnership is already off to a tremendous start.”
UTSA Athletics has grown tremendously over the past 13 years, with the rise of its football program spearheading the way. As the athletics department tries to grow in totality, Campos has taken steps to improve life for all of UTSA’s student-athletes, with the latest brand change reflecting her commitment to change for the university.
