In compliance with the Clery Act, UTSA keeps a daily crime log for all on-campus crimes. The log summarizes the case’s date, time, location, incident and current status. The crimes detailed below are taken directly from the crime log, showcasing the trends recorded from April 6 to April 12.
Burglary of a vehicle
A vehicle burglary was reported at the University Oaks apartments on April 6 at 11 p.m. This case remains active.
Unlawful disclosure/promotion of intimate visual material
An unlawful disclosure/promotion of intimate visual material was reported on April 7 at Chaparral Village. The offense occurred between 1:59 p.m and 2:20 p.m. The case remains active.
Larceny/theft
Multiple larceny/theft offences were reported on April 7. The first incident occurred at 7:15 p.m. on April 7 and again at 6:25 a.m. at the Bosque St. Building. The third offense occurred between 8:13 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. at the Recreation and Wellness Center. The offenses have an estimated value ranging between $100 and $749.99. All cases remain active.
Larceny/theft of multiple offenses were reported on April 9. The first incident occurred at the Main Building between 6:45 p.m. on April 8 and 11:20 a.m. on April 9. The second offense occurred Dec. 12 and April 9 at John Peace Library with the estimated value of the stolen property being $750-$2500. The last incident occurred at the Recreation and Wellness Center on the same day at 6:36 p.m and 7:02 p.m. All cases remain active.
Duty on striking an unattended vehicle
Duty on striking an unattended vehicle was reported on April 8. The incident occurred between 5:09 p.m. and 6:01 p.m. at the Ximenes Avenue Lot. Another incident was reported between 9:53 p.m. and 11:08 p.m. It occurred on April 9 at Bauerle Road Lot 3. All cases remain active.
Disturbance
A disturbance occurred at Bosque Street Lot on April 9. The incident was reported between 3:30 p.m. and 4:09 p.m. The case was closed.
Harassment
An incident of harassment was reported at Guadalupe Hall on April 9. It occurred between 4:42 p.m and 4:59 p.m. The case remains active.
Minor in possession of alcohol/drug paraphernalia
A minor was charged with possession of alcohol/drug paraphernalia at Chaparral Village. The offense occurred between 8:40 p.m. and 10:08 p.m. on April 9. The case was cleared by arrest.
