Don’t tell senior quarterback Eric Soza this could be his last game. He came out cooking in the first quarter with a 31-yard touchdown pass to freshmen running back Jarveon Williams, and then topped it off with a 20-yard touchdown run to give the Roadrunners a 14-3 lead.

UTSA’s defense gave up on big pass play to the Bulldogs for 34-yards that ended in a field goal.

-Senior safety Nic Johnston led the defense with four tackles (2 solo).

The most significant thing about the second quarter is Soza leaving the game with about a minute left due to an injury. There are no specifics, but it may have happened on the interception play that resulted in a touchdown for Louisiana Tech.

The Roadrunners defense has yet to give up a touchdown, but the Bulldogs remain in the game thanks to their defensive score.
