Many sports fans may agree that it has been a wild, busy summer in the world of sports. From obsession over the Cleveland Brown’s starting quarterback, to Rory Mcllroy’s complete dominance of major golf tournaments, has had fans at the edge of their seats. With the recent uproar in the sports world, many fans forget the exciting migrations of top football players from one popular club team to another! Important questions emerge as to how these players will fit in the new system? Will their new homes positively impact their career or hurt it? What will their role be? Here’s an update on four big-name player signings and their new situations.
Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez

Mexican star Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez has been put on loan from Manchester United, his old club in the English Barclays Premier League, to join Spanish La Liga super club, Real Madrid. Chicharito was a great chess piece in Man U’s offense. He boosted the team’s energy and often created chances to score goals. I think the move to Real Madrid will progress his career. He will have the opportunity to build the Frenchman a starting role since the only genuine cover striker on Real Madrid’s team is Karim Benzema. Chicharito is on a one-year loan to Real Madrid, but Madrid will have the option to buy in case they want to keep him permanently.
Luis Suarez
Luis Suarez

Uruguayan sensation Luis Suarez will not find a Liverpool jersey on his back once the La Liga season starts, but rather, a Barcelona jersey. Yes, a Barcelona jersey! The all-purposeforward was sold by Liverpool to Barcelona for roughly 75 million pounds to a five year contract, which is a great deal for Barcelona. Suarez, a player with tremendous raw talent at the peak of his career, is easily one of the top 10 players in the world! He will easily find himself at the front of Barcelona’s attacking scheme alongside fellow stars Neymar and Lionel Messi once he serves his suspension for the biting incident at the FIFA World Cup. Suarez will easily fit into Barcelona’s scheme since he is such a versatile player. There isn’t anyone better out there when it comes to finishing and heading, and he will have plenty of elite talent to help set up the ball in scoring positions.
Guillermo Ochoa

“Memo” Ochoa made quite the noise during Mexico’s impressive run in the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil. Throughout the tournament, he made one incredible save after another and was chosen as man of the match twice. The Mexican goalkeeper became a hot attraction this summer as a free agent and eventually signed a three-year contract with the big Spanish club Malaga. Ochoa is expected to become the club’s every -game starter and will play a critical role in Malaga’s competition against Spanish superpowers Real Madrid and Barcelona. Ochoa’s move to Malaga, the highest caliber club he has played for, will lead to a more successful phase of his career.
Angel di Maria

There is no question that Angel di Maria is one of the best midfielders in the game. Unfortunately, with the recent arrivals of FIFA World Cup 2014 sensations, James Rodriguez, and German midfielder, Toni Kroos, di Maria made it clear that he knew he wasn’t going to be a part of the long-term picture of Real Madrid’s attacking scheme. However, Real Madrid’s front office offered him a huge contract to stay, which became the second biggest contract on the team, second only to Ronaldo. Angel di Maria turned this deal down and was sold to Manchester United for 59.7 million. Manchester United offered him a fresh start, and a secure, lead role in the attack complete with talented forwards such as Wayne Rooney, Robin van Persi and Juan Mata. Perhaps di Maria won’t thrive as well as he did with Ronaldo and Gareth Bale in Madrid, but now with a secure role, di Maria’s potential remains limitless for quite some time.
