The UTSA women’s golf team was in Argyle, TX, this past week from Sunday, March 28, through Monday, March 29, for The Bruzzy. In a stacked tournament field, with eight of the 15 teams ranked in the top 50, the Roadrunners were going to be in for a tough fight over the course of 54 holes. The ‘Runners got off to a rough start during the tournament, but a strong final round led by Ana Gonzalez saw UTSA fly up the leaderboard and finish ahead of #42 TCU and #16 Miami for a ninth-place finish.
