Luke (he/him) is an English major at UTSA and is set to graduate in the Spring of 2024. This is his fifth semester at The Paisano and his fourth as the Sports Editor. Along with covering UTSA sports and events, Luke also covers high school sports and local events for the San Antonio Express-News and covers the San Antonio Spurs for The Paisano. He has a huge passion for covering sports and giving his opinion on them. Outside of writing and talking about sports, Luke's hobbies include playing basketball, watching movies and all things outdoors.
Connor (he/him) is a junior communication major at UTSA. This semester is Connor's first at The Paisano. Connor covers UTSA Athletics and the San Antonio Missions, as well as the Austin Spurs for the Project Spurs Network and high school football for Texas Sports Productions. He loves to shine a spotlight on the power of sports within our society. Aside from writing, Connor's hobbies are playing video games, hanging out with friends and watching sports.
Rylan is an English major in his Junior year at UTSA and is entering his fourth semester writing for the Paisano. He is a big fan of the Seahawks, Mariners and all UTSA athletics. In his free time, he enjoys watching horror films, playing video games and playing basketball.
Aramis Santiago is a 23-year-old sophomore communications major at UTSA with a deep passion for sports, particularly football and basketball. His goal is to secure a position in sports journalism after graduating, where he can continue to talk and write about the sports he loves. Outside of school and work, Aramis enjoys working out, watching sports, spending time with friends, listening to music, playing video games, and reading. His favorite music genres include R&B, reggaeton, and hip-hop, and he enjoys trying food from anywhere. Born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, in 2000, Aramis moved to Baltimore, Maryland, with his family in 2006 before settling in San Antonio, Texas, in 2010. A diehard Baltimore Ravens fan, Aramis hasn’t missed a game since 2014 and plans to continue supporting his team for life
William is a fourth-year student majoring in kinesiology with a concentration in health science and a minor in psychology. He has been with the Paisano ever since he came to UTSA and has worked his way up from a contributor to becoming the multimedia editor in the fall of 2023. Alongside his dedication to producing captivating multimedia content, William joined the Paisano with the goal of making a positive impact on the community by increasing awareness about campus life and news around San Antonio. In his free time, he likes exploring the city, reading about philosophy and binge-watching shows and anime.
