William Barnes, Multimedia Editor
William is a fourth-year student majoring in kinesiology with a concentration in health science and a minor in psychology. He has been with the Paisano ever since he came to UTSA and has worked his way up from a contributor to becoming the multimedia editor in the fall of 2023. Alongside his dedication to producing captivating multimedia content, William joined the Paisano with the goal of making a positive impact on the community by increasing awareness about campus life and news around San Antonio. In his free time, he likes exploring the city, reading about philosophy and binge-watching shows and anime.

Marcela Montufar Soria, Opinion Editor
Marcela (She/Her/Ella) is a senior Honors College History and Classical Studies and Humanities major with a concentration in Religious Studies and a minor in East Asian Studies. She is an international student from Mexico and is the fourth member of her family to be a student at UTSA. After graduation, she plans to pursue a graduate education in Chinese history. Her hobbies include violin playing, amateur stargazing, video editing, writing, reading non-fiction, and painting. She is an avid follower of motorsports, especially Formula 1. She joined the Paisano in Fall 2021, became Assistant Multimedia Editor in Spring 2022, became Multimedia Editor in Spring 2023, and became Opinion Editor in Fall 2024.

Genevieve Vega, Staff Writer
Genevieve (she/her) is a second-year Biomedical Engineering student. After graduating, she plans on attending graduate school for Biomedical Engineering. She joined The Paisano in Fall 2022. In her free time she enjoys being with family and friends, doing arts and crafts, reading and watching TV.

Lesley Fuentes, Staff Writer
Lesley (she/her) is a second-year majoring in Environmental Science. She plans to graduate in the spring of 2026. She enjoys listening to music, going to concerts and hanging out with her friends in her free time. After graduation she hopes to continue her education in Restoration Ecology. Back home, she likes spending time with her family and her three dogs Max, Penny and Nena. She joined The Paisano in 2023 and has been loving her home away from home ever since.
