Rodeo Rendezvous

Fairgrounds at the San Antonio Rodeo

The San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo fairgrounds were packed with smiling teenagers, crying babies and at least a mile of neon lights. The rodeo has been around since 1949, and their website states that approximately 1.5 million attendees visit it each year. Outside of the various livestock shows the rodeo hosts there is a massive carnival with rides, food vendors and games, plus an expo hall with an art gallery, petting zoo, shops and live music. The 75th annual San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo ran from Feb. 6 to Feb. 23.
