About the Contributors
Jasmine Williams, Editor-in-Chief
Jasmine is a senior majoring in public health. She was born in Las Vegas, Nevada, but she has spent over a decade in San Antonio. In her spare time, she enjoys thrifting, hanging out with friends, staying up late, reading and listening to music. She is interested in pursuing writing, editing, and health policy in her future. This is her fourth semester with The Paisano and her first semester as Editor-in-Chief.
Catherine Salonga, Graphic Artist
Catherine Salonga is a 3rd-year psychology major, and graphic artist in the Paisano. She enjoys engaging in the fine arts and is skilled in many fields, such as singing and dancing. She also is a fan of motorsports, with her favorite F1 team being RedBull Racing. This is her third semester at The Paisano.
Maria Wence, Assistant Multimedia Editor
Maria (she/her) is a junior at UT San Antonio who is majoring in communications and will graduate in 2027 with her bachelor’s degree. She is from Houston and hopes to return for a short time to eventually move to New York city to pursue a career in broadcasting journalism. In her spare time, she is usually adventuring on the weekends, creating videos, and working out.
