Laura Thevaos, Staff Writer
Laura Thevaos is a third-year English major at UTSA and this is her first semester at the Paisano. During the day, she works as a substitute teacher’s assistant, working with a variety of grades during the week. When she isn’t working or doing school work, Laura spends time with her friends, finds adventures, oil paints, and tries to discover new coffee shops in San Antonio. Ever since she was little, Laura always loved coming up with stories and even before she could write, she would tell them to her mom so she could write them down for her. Laura finds the best way to express her ideas and thoughts is through writing, since you can always delete a sentence, but cannot always take back what you say. Laura’s love of writing and interest in journalism is what brought her to the Paisano and so far, she has greatly enjoyed getting to brainstorm new ideas and further cultivate her writing skills with other amazing writers.
