Marcela (She/Her/Ella) is an Honors College History and Classical Studies and Humanities major with a concentration in Religious Studies. She is an international student from Mexico and is the fourth member of her family to be a student at UTSA. After graduation, she plans to pursue a graduate education in Egyptology. Outside of school, Marcela volunteers at the Witte Museum as a gallery attendant during the weekends. Her hobbies include violin playing, amateur stargazing, video editing, writing, reading non-fiction, and painting. She joined the Paisano in Fall 2021, became Assistant Multimedia Editor in Spring 2022, and became Multimedia Editor in Spring 2023.
Genevieve (she/her) is a first-year Biomedical Engineering student. After graduation, she plans on attending medical school to become a Forensic Pathologist. She was born in San Antonio but has lived in Schertz for the past 11 years. This is her first year with The Paisano, however, she started freelance photography 2 years ago and intends to grow her business. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family and watching tv.
Gauri is a third-year Biology major. She has been living in San Antonio since 2016, after moving here from India. She plans on furthering her education in Biology and pursuing a career in the field. Apart from studying science, she enjoys writing, art, journaling and spending time with family. Her love for writing led her to the Paisano, where she enjoys being around like-minded people.
William is a senior majoring in kinesiology with a concentration in health science and has a passion for both science and multimedia journalism. During his time with The Paisano he has worked his way up to becoming the Multimedia Editor and wishes to make a difference in the community by spreading awareness about campus life and news. In his free time he also likes learning philosophy, watching documentaries, and volunteering.
