Time changed for second commencement ceremony

Time changed for second commencement ceremony
Mohitha Ravikumar

Last week, UTSA changed the time the second fall commencement ceremony will take place, adjusting it to 4 p.m. instead of 3 p.m.

According to UTSA Today, this change was to “ensure that traffic in and around the Alamodome can be managed as efficiently as possible” and to ensure that “guests and graduates of the earlier ceremony have had sufficient time to clear the parking lots.”

Two commencement ceremonies will occur for UTSA graduates on Dec. 9 at the Alamodome. The first is scheduled for 10 a.m. for the College of Health, Community and Policy, the College of Liberal and Fine Arts and the College of Sciences. The second will take place at 4 p.m. for graduates of the Carlos Alvarez College of Business, the Margie and Bill Klesse College of Engineering and Integrated Design, the College of Education and Human Development and University College.
