Senior forward Byron Frohnen has made UTSA basketball history by breaking two school records in back-to-back games. Frohnen now holds the record for career starts with 123 consecutive starts and the all-time rebounding record with 845 career boards.

“Breaking a record is pretty cool,” Frohnen said. “It’s an uphill climb for us for the rest of the season, and I’m sure someone will break my record down the road, but having a record right now is pretty cool.”

Frohnen and the rest of the men’s basketball team will be back in action on Thursday in Norfolk, Virginia to face the Old Dominion University Monarchs.

Frohnen has been chipping away at these records since the first game in his freshman year in 2016 against the Arkansas Tech Wonder Boys.
