Which Texas team will win the World Series?

Which+Texas+team+will+win+the+World+Series%3F

The Texas Rangers have won their first playoff series for the first time since their 2011 AL Championship Series matchup against the Detroit Tigers. This raises the question: which Texas team has the better chance of winning the World Series?

For the past six years, the Houston Astros have been the dominant team in baseball. But most recently, the Rangers have become one of the best offensive teams in baseball with help from guys like Marcus Semien, Corey Seager, Jonah Heim and Adolis Garcia. If the Rangers continue to light it up in the playoffs, they could win it all.

The Rangers might not have the best pitching, but their hitters allow them to go up big in most games.  The Rangers will face the Baltimore Orioles, who were previously the best team in the AL East, in the AL Divisional Series. . If the Rangers can beat them, there is a chance they could upset the Astros in the AL Championship Series. If the two Texas teams were to face off in the ALCS, it would be a  close series, but I believe the Astros would come out on top.

The Astros have been the most dominant team in baseball for quite some time now, and have more playoff experience than the Rangers. The Astros also have better pitching than the Rangers, which would help them tremendously if the two were to face off. This weekend, the Astros will face the Minnesota Twins, who have been a consistent team all year. This matchup could be an opportunity for the Astros to set the tone for this year’s playoffs.

As the playoffs continue, we will see how these two Texas teams fare against the best teams in the AL. The Rangers and the Astros can hit the heck out of the ball, but the Astros have better pitching and a better bullpen, which is why I believe that the Houston Astros will once again be in a position to play in their 5th World Series in seven years. Will they win it all though? We will just have to wait and see.
