Alessandra Avila, Assistant News Editor
Alessandra (she/her) is a Junior at UTSA where she is Majoring in Communications and will finish her undergrad in the spring of 2025. She plans on returning to school to earn her MDA in Communications. Her end goal is to be a journalist and be the newest face on news television. She is passionate about writing and joined the Paisano in the fall of 2023 to share her creativity and writing abilities. In her downtime, you can find her playing golf with her dad, traveling, reading, or catching up with her little brother and mom.
William Barnes, Multimedia Editor
William is a fourth-year student majoring in kinesiology with a concentration in health science and a minor in psychology. He has been with the Paisano ever since he came to UTSA and has worked his way up from a contributor to becoming the multimedia editor in the fall of 2023. Alongside his dedication to producing captivating multimedia content, William joined the Paisano with the goal of making a positive impact on the community by increasing awareness about campus life and news around San Antonio. In his free time, he likes exploring the city, reading about philosophy and binge-watching shows and anime.
Allana Llabres, Social Media Manager
Allana (she/her) is a first-year Medical Humanities major at UTSA. Beyond graduation she plans to attend the UT Health School of Dentistry. When she’s not doing homework you can find her making jewelry or hanging out with friends. This is her first semester with the Paisano.
