In compliance with the Clery Act, UTSA keeps a daily crime log for all on-campus crimes. The log summarizes the case’s date, time, location, incident, and current status. The crimes detailed below are taken directly from the crime log, showcasing the trends that occurred from Sept. 1 to Sept. 8. 

Criminal Mischief 

Unlawful damage, destruction, tampering or marking of another’s property ranging between $100-$749.99 occurred at the Engineering Building on campus between 2:42 p.m. and 3:29 p.m. on Sept. 2. This case is currently active. 

Larceny/Theft

Theft of $100-$749.99 was reported on Sept. 3. between 2:44 p.m. and 2:57 p.m. at Alvarez Residence Hall on campus residential facility. This case remains active. 

Duty on striking an unattended vehicle

Duty on striking an unattended vehicle was reported Sept. 2. between 10:40 a.m. and 5:44 p.m. at Brackenridge Ave. Lot 5 on campus. This case remains active. 

Graffiti

Graffiti was reported at the Convocation Center on campus between 1:33 a.m. and 1:51 a.m. on Sept. 1. The case is currently active. 

Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor

Two counts of possession of alcohol and consumption of alcohol by a minor occurred on Monday Sept. 1 between 12:54 a.m. and 1:06 a.m. at University Oaks Phase 3. An additional offense of possession, purchase, consumption, or receipt of cigarettes, e-cigarettes occurred as well. The case was cleared by arrest. 

Failure to stop and render aid

Failure to stop and render aid was reported on Sept. 4. between 4:26 p.m. and 4:46 p.m. at Ximenes Avenue @ Ford Ave. This case remains active. 

Burglary of a Vehicle

Burglary of a vehicle was reported Sept. 3 at 10:00 a.m. to Sept. 4 at 2:51 p.m. in Resident Lot 2 on campus. This case remains active. 

Criminal Mischief

A burglary of a vehicle and criminal mischief of $2500-$29999.99 was reported between Sept. 3 at 9:00 p.m. and Sept. 4 at 11:07 a.m. at Resident Lot 2. This casse is still active.
