The crimes detailed below are taken directly from the Mapping Portal System, showcasing the trends that occurred from April 27 to May 3.
Larceny/Theft
Two separate cases of theft occurred on the same day. One remains active, the other case is closed.
A case of theft ranging from $100-$749.99 was reported on April 29 at 12:33 a.m. at 1800 block of Rogers Rd and Enclave at Dominion. The crime occurred until May 2 at 5:05 p.m. This case is closed.
Another case of theft was reported on April 29 from 1:48 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. at the UTSA RACE Facility. The theft amount ranges from $100-$749.99. This case remains active.
Graffiti
A case of graffiti was reported at the East Campus lot location on April 30 from 10:45 a.m. to 10:53 a.m. This case remains active.
Criminal Mischief
A case of criminal mischief of less than $100 was reported on April 30 at 5:28 p.m. The crime occurred in front of the Roadrunner Café and Guadalupe Hall. The crime occurred on April 29 at 12 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. This case remains active.
Unlawful disclosure or promotion of intimate visual material
At Alvarez Hall, a crime of unlawful disclosure or promotion of intimate visual material occurred on April 30 at 9:37 p.m. The crime lasted from 5 p.m. to 9:37 p.m. This case remains active.
Minor in possession of Alcohol
At Resident Lot 3, in front of Blanco Hall, a minor in possession of alcohol offense occurred on May 2 at 11:11 p.m. The crime lasted from 11:11 p.m. to 11:38 p.m. This case was closed by exceptional means, indicating elements beyond UTSAPD’s control prevented them from arresting and formally charging the offender.
