The crimes detailed below are taken directly from the crime log, showcasing the trends that occurred from March 30 to April 5.
Larceny/theft
Four cases of larceny/theft were reported and all share an estimated value of $100-$749.99.
Larceny/theft was first reported on March 30 at 7:28 a.m. The case lasted until 8:36 a.m and occurred at the Activity Center on Main Campus. The case has been cleared by arrest.
Another case of larceny/theft was reported on the same day at 1:51 p.m. and lasted until 2:19 p.m. The incident occurred at University Oaks Building 32 and does not have a provided disposition.
The third case was reported on April 2 at 12:22 a.m. The offense occurred at Chaparral Village on April 1 from 5-8:14 p.m. The case remains active
The final case was reported on April 4 at 6:28 p.m. The incident occurred from April 3 at 12:30 a.m. to April 4 at 6:40 p.m. at the Engineering Building. The case remains active.
Stalking
A case of stalking was reported on March 30 at 8:44 a.m. at Blanco Hall. The case occurred from March 25 at 8-9:30 p.m. and has been closed.
Forgery
Forgery was reported on March 30 at 2:16 p.m. at Bosque Street Building. The case lasted from the time reported until 2:34 p.m. and does not have a reported disposition.
Driving While Intoxicated
A case of driving while intoxicated, possession of a controlled substance and possession of a dangerous drug was reported on March 30 at 9:35 p.m. The incident lasted until 9:48 p.m. and occurred at Resident Lot 1. The case remains active.
Burglary of a Building
Two counts of burglary of a building were reported on March 31 at 3:55 a.m. and took place from 3:57-4:55 a.m. The offense took place at the Engineering Building and has been cleared by arrest.
Another report was filed on the same day at 2:10 p.m. The case occurred on March 31 from 12:01 a.m. to 2:36 p.m. at the Recreation Center and remains active.
Fondling
The UT San Antonio Police Department received a report of fondling on March 31 at 8:19 a.m. The incident occurred on March 9 from 5:30-5:45 a.m. at Guadalupe Hall and has been closed.
Disorderly Conduct
Disorderly conduct was reported on March 31 at 8:27 a.m. The offense occurred at University Oaks Apartments and occurred between March 22 at 3:28 p.m. and March 31 at 9:17 a.m. The case remains active.
Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor
Three counts of consumption of alcohol by a minor were reported on April 2 at 2:40 a.m. and lasted until 3:28 a.m. The incident took place at University Oaks Phase 3 and has been cleared by arrest.
Assault by Contact
Assault by contact was reported on April 2 at 11:25 a.m. The offense took place at McKinney Humanities Building and occurred the same day from 11:15-11:26 a.m. The case has been cleared by arrest.
Another report was made on April 2 at 1:17 p.m. The second report shares the same location, time and disposition.
Obscured License Plate
A report of a wrong, fictitious, altered or obscured license plate was made on April 2 at 10:53 p.m. The offense occurred at University Oaks Phase 1 and lasted from the time reported to 11:09 p.m. The case has been closed by exceptional means, indicating elements beyond UTSAPD’s control prevented them from arresting and formally charging the offender.
Criminal Trespass
Criminal trespass was reported on April 3 at 6:32 p.m. The offense took place at University Oaks Apartments on the day reported from 2-2:30 a.m. The case remains active.
Public Intoxication
A report of public intoxication was made on April 5 at 2:54 a.m. and lasted until 3:24 a.m The incident occurred at Alvarez Residence Hall and has been closed by exceptional means.
