In compliance with the Clery Act, UT San Antonio keeps a daily crime log for all on-campus crimes. The log summarizes the case’s date, time, location, incident and current status. The crimes detailed below are taken directly from the crime log, showcasing the trends that occurred from Sept. 23 to Sept. 30.
Disorderly Conduct
There were two cases of disorderly conduct on Tuesday; one occurred from 1:42 p.m. to 4:03 p.m. at the Recreation Center and is currently active. There was another case from 10 p.m. to 10:15 p.m. at Alvarez Residence Hall; this case is also active.
Criminal Mischief
There was an incident of criminal mischief in Ximenes Ave. lot on Thursday from 8:30 p.m. to 1:09 a.m. on Friday for $750-$2,499.99. This case is currently active.
On Saturday, there was another instance of criminal mischief reported from 1:00 p.m. till 6:34 p.m. in the Dolorosa lot; this case is also currently active.
Burglary of a Vehicle
There was a case reported for burglary of a vehicle on Friday from 12:50 a.m. to 1:27 a.m. in Ximenes Ave. This case is currently active.
Possession of Marihuana
A case for the possession of marijuana, less than 2 oz., was reported on Friday from 12:50 a.m. to 1:27 a.m. in Ximenes Ave. This is still an ongoing investigation.
Motor Vehicle Theft
On Friday from 4:39 a.m. to 5:07 a.m., there was a reported case of motor vehicle theft at Resident Lot 1; this case is still active.
There was another case of theft of a vehicle on Thursday from 11:00 p.m. to Friday at 3:41 a.m. at University Oaks Apartments; this case is also currently active.
Underage Consumption of Alcohol
There was a report of alcohol consumption by a minor in Resident Lot 5 at the main campus from 12:56 a.m. till 1:07 a.m. on Sunday; this case has been cleared by arrest.
Public Lewdness
An incident was reported for 2 counts of public lewdness at Resident Lot 5 from 4:15 a.m. till 4:31 a.m. This case has been closed by exceptional means.
Illegal Dumping
A report for illegal dumping occurred from 1:31 a.m. through 1:31 a.m. on Thursday in the Dolorosa lot; this case is currently active.
Driving Under the Influence
An instance of driving under the influence of alcohol as a minor occurred on Babcock Road. On Wednesday, Sep. 24 at 2:53 a.m., this case was cleared by arrest.
Possession or Receipt of Cigarettes
There was a reported offense of possession, purchase, receipt, or consumption of cigarettes or e-cigarettes on Babcock Road. that lasted from 2:53 a.m. to 3:24 a.m. on Wednesday, Sep. 24. This case has been cleared by arrest.
There was another incident on Thursday at 2:22 a.m. through 2:33 a.m. at the John Peace Library that has been closed by exceptional means.
Evading Arrest
At 8:38 p.m. on Wednesday, Sep. 24, there was a report of evading arrest on Cesar E. Chavez Boulevard. The incident only lasted eight minutes. This is still an active investigation.
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
There was a report of possession of drug paraphernalia on Chase Hill Boulevard at Tia’s Taco Hut, on Thursday at 9:01 through 9:27 p.m. This offense has been cleared by arrest.
