Cook.Eat.Write.Repeat: Jalapeño Poppers

Jalapeno Poppers
Recipe by Christopher Rangel (UTSA Honors College Student)

Prep Time: 10-15 minutes
Cook Time: 15 minutes

Strips of bacon
Jalapeño Cream Cheese
Everything but the Bagel Seasoning

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit
2. Wash the jalapeño peppers with water
3. Cut the peppers in half
4. Scrape off the seeds with a spoon
5. Fill the peppers with cream cheese using a small spatula or spoon
6. Sprinkle Everything but the Bagel Seasoning onto the peppers
7. Wrap the peppers with a strip of bacon
8. Place jalapeños on a baking tray and set them down inside the oven to bake for about 15 minutes or until the bacon strips are crispy
