In compliance with the Clery Act, UT San Antonio keeps a daily crime log for all on-campus crimes. The log summarizes the case’s date, time, location, incident and current status. The crimes detailed below are taken directly from the crime log, showcasing the trends that occurred from Oct. 20-26.
Fondling
A case dealing with fondling was reported at Laurel Village Building 8 on Oct. 20. The incident occurred on Oct. 14 between 12 a.m. and 11:59 p.m. The case has been closed.
Theft and credit card abuse
Theft of under $100 and related credit/debit card abuse was reported on Oct. 20 at the John Peace Library. The incident occurred on Oct. 17. The case remains active.
Hit and run
An unattended vehicle was struck in the Bauerle Road Garage on Oct. 20 between 4:55 p.m. and 10:40 p.m. the next day. The case remains active. Another incident involving a struck unattended vehicle occurred in Brackenridge Ave. Lot 1 on Oct. 21 between 2-3:45 p.m. The case remains active.
Underage drinking
A minor was arrested for alcohol consumption and driving under the influence at Brackenridge Ave. Lot 1 on Oct. 23 between 2:03-2:23 a.m. The case was cleared by arrest.
Four minors were cited for alcohol consumption and possession near Tobin Ave. on Oct. 24 between 12:35-12:52 a.m. The case was cleared by arrest.
A separate underage drinking incident occurred in Resident Lot 5 on Oct. 24 between 2:34-3:04 a.m. The case was closed by exceptional means.
