In compliance with the Clery Act, UT San Antonio keeps a daily crime log for all on-campus crimes. The log summarizes the case’s date, time, location, incident and current status. The crimes detailed below are taken directly from the crime log, showcasing the trends that occurred from Nov. 10-16.
Larceny/Theft
There were four separate instances of larceny/theft reported at Main Campus. All cases remain active.
The first was reported on Nov. 11 at 2:01 p.m. It occurred at the Bus Stop Oval between noon on Nov. 8 and 9 a.m. on Nov. 11. The stolen property has an estimated value between $100 and $749.99.
The second instance was reported on the same day at 4:01 p.m. but happened between Sept. 17 at 8 a.m. and Sept. 19 at midnight at the John Peace Library. The estimated value of the stolen goods ranges from $750-$2,499.99.
The third larceny/theft offense took place at the North Paseo building between Oct. 7 at 1:30 p.m. and Oct. 9 at 12:30 p.m. It was reported on Nov. 11 at 4:06 p.m., and the stolen property’s value is estimated at $100 to $749.99.
The final case occurred at the JPL between Oct. 5 at 8 a.m. and Oct. 6 at midnight. It was reported on Nov. 11 at 4:57 p.m.. The stolen goods are valued at $750-$2,499.99.
Duty on striking unattended vehicle
At Brackenridge Ave. Lot 3, an incident of duty on striking an unattended vehicle took place. It occurred on Nov. 9 between 3:50-4:35 p.m. and was reported to the UT San Antonio Police Department on Nov. 11 at 2:32 p.m. The case remains active.
Criminal mischief
A criminal mischief offense was reported on Nov. 11 at 5:10 p.m. It occurred at the Biosciences Building from 5:10-5:50 p.m. the same day. The damages from the offense cost between $750-$2,499.99. The case remains active
