In compliance with the Clery Act, UT San Antonio keeps a daily crime log for all on-campus crimes. The log summarizes the case’s date, time, location, incident and current status. The crimes detailed below are taken directly from the crime log, showcasing the trends that occurred from Feb. 16-22.
Fraud
A fraud offense that occurred at the Bosque Street Building between March 1 – April 1, 2025. It was reported on Feb. 16 at 10:32 a.m. The case was closed.
Harassment
Harassment was reported on Feb. 17 at 2:12 p.m. The incident occurred on Main Campus the same day between 12-3:08 p.m. The case remains active.
General Traffic Violation
A general traffic violation and an offense of fictitious or altered license or certificate offense were reported at the Ximenas Avenue Lot on Feb. 18 at 1:30 a.m. It occurred between 1:30-1:57 a.m. The case was closed by exceptional means, indicating elements beyond UT San Antonio Police Department’s control prevented them from arresting and formally charging the offender.
Assault & Burglary
Assault involving bodily injury-dating violence and burglary of a habitation were reported at Chaparral Village on Feb. 18 at 10:11 a.m. The incident happened the same day between 8-8:10 a.m. The case remains active.
Larceny/Theft
There were five separate incidents of larceny/theft reported on Main Campus. The first three cases involved theft of less than $100 in value, and one case involved theft of $100-$749.99 in value. The first case was reported on Feb. 18 at 11:32 a.m. It occurred at Bauerle Road Garage on Feb.16 between 12:45-12:55 p.m. This case remains active.
The second theft was reported on the same day at Chaparral Village from Feb. 11 at 12:34 a.m. The incident happened between 12:30 p.m. on Feb. 11 and Feb. 12 at 2 p.m. This case remains active.
The third theft was reported on Feb. 19 at 10:17 a.m. at the Bosque Street Building. The case, which occurred on that day between 10:17-10:30 a.m., involved a credit/debit card abuse offense. The case was cleared by arrest.
The fourth theft occurred the same day between 2:30-4:03 p.m. at the Flawn Sciences Building. The case, which was reported at 3:43 p.m., involved a theft estimated between $100-$749.99 in value. This case remains active.
Assist Outside Agency
An incident of UTSAPD assisting an outside agency involving an outstanding warrant was reported on Feb. 18 at 3:28 p.m.. The incident occurred at the McKinney Humanities Building that day between 3:28-4:11 p.m. The case was cleared by arrest.
Criminal Mischief
Criminal mischief was reported on Feb. 19 at 11:39 a.m. The mischief occurred at the University Oaks Apartments from Feb. 3 at 11:30 a.m. to Feb. 15 at 3 p.m. The damage is estimated to be between $100-749.99 in value. The case remains active.
