In compliance with the Clery Act, UT San Antonio keeps a daily crime log for all on-campus crimes. The log summarizes the case’s date, time, location, incident and current status. The crimes detailed below are taken directly from the crime log, showcasing the trends that occurred from March 2-15.
Criminal Trespass
A criminal trespass offense was reported at 7:56 p.m. on March 2 at University Oaks Building 13. It occurred from the reported time until 8:36 p.m. The case remains active.
Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor
Consumption of alcohol by a minor was reported to the UT San Antonio Police Department in three separate instances.
In the first instance, five counts of consumption of alcohol by a minor were reported March 3 at 10:50 p.m. The offense took place at University Oaks Phase 2 from 10:50-11:17 p.m. The case was cleared by arrest.
For the second instance, two counts of consumption of alcohol by a minor were reported along with three other offenses: fraudulent use or possession of identifying information, open container in a motor vehicle and possession of a controlled substance. The case was reported at 12:37 a.m. on March 5. The incident occurred at the Devine Lot from 12:37-1:27 a.m. and was cleared by arrest.
In the final instance, two counts of consumption of alcohol by a minor were reported. This case was reported on March 5 at 4:25 a.m. and lasted until 4:44 a.m. at Paseo Del Norte. The case was closed by exceptional means, indicating elements beyond UTSAPD’s control prevented them from arresting and formally charging the offender.
Stalking
Stalking was reported to UTSAPD twice, and both incidents have been closed.
The first stalking case was reported at 8:36 a.m. on March 3. It took place on Feb. 24 from 6-6:30 p.m. in the McKinney Humanities Building.
The second stalking case was reported at 3:52 p.m. on March 4. It occurred on Feb. 27 from midnight to 11:59 p.m. in the John Peace Library.
Fondling
UTSAPD received a report of fondling on March 3 at 8:56 a.m. The incident took place at the Recreation Center last year between Sept. 9 at midnight and Oct. 31 at 11:59 p.m. The case has been closed.
Larceny/theft
Reports of Larceny/theft were made to UTSAPD five separate times. The first two were cleared by arrest while the rest remain active.
The first case was reported on March 5 at 4:01 p.m. It took place the same day between 3-5:26 p.m. at the Student Union Building. The stolen property’s estimated value ranges from $100-$749.99. Two additional offenses, failure to identify and possession of less than two ounces of marijuana, were reported as well.
The second case involved two counts of larceny/theft reported on March 5 at 9:38 p.m. The case took place the same day between 10 a.m. and 9:39 p.m. in the Science and Engineering Building. The stolen property’s estimated value ranges from $100-$749.99 as well.
The third case, reported on March 6 at 12:14 a.m., took place between March 3 at 7:38 p.m. and March 5 at 9:04 p.m. at Resident Lot 4. The stolen property’s estimated value is less than $100, and the case remains active.
The fourth case was reported to UTSAPD on March 6 at 7:12 p.m. It occurred at the Student Union Building the same day from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. This case shares the same estimated value and disposition as the case prior.
The final larceny/theft report was made on March 9 at 3:42 p.m. The case took place at Bosque St. Building sometime between May 1, 2025, at 8 a.m. and March 9 at 3:42 p.m. The stolen property’s estimated value ranges from $750-$2499.99, and the case remains active.
Assist Outside Agency
UTSAPD assisted an outside agency in handling an incident of sexual assault. The report was made on March 7 at 12:41 p.m. and occurred from that time until 1:04 p.m. The incident took place at Bosque Street Building and remains open.
Minor in Possession of Alcohol
A report of a minor in possession of alcohol was received by UTSAPD on March 9 at 7:21 p.m. The offense took place at Barshop Boulevard Lot 1 the same day from 7:21-8:13 p.m.. The case was cleared by arrest.
Assault by contact
Assault by contact involving dating violence was reported on March 10 at 3:10 p.m. The offense took place at University Oaks Apartments; however, the time that it occurred was not provided. The case is closed.
Unlawful Disclosure or Promotion of Intimate Visual Material
A report was made on March 10 at 4:10 p.m. of an unlawful disclosure or promotion of intimate visual material offense. The case took place at University Oaks Building 19 the same day from 3:10-4:10 p.m. It remains active.
Forgery
UTSAPD received a report of forgery on March 11 at 4:10 p.m. The offense occurred at the John Peace Library between March 9 at 8 a.m. and March 11 at 4:33 p.m. The case remains active.
