Riley Carroll, Arts & Life Editor
Riley Carroll (she/her) is a class of 2025 communication major from Houston, Texas interested in pursuing copywriting, reporting and concert photography. Following continuous story writing since grade school, she always knew journalism was her calling. Riley joined The Paisano during the Spring 2022 semester after missing being a photographer and editor for her high school yearbook, The Talon. At 17, Riley’s advanced student life photography won third place in a state-wide ATPI competition and she went on to join Quill and Scroll, a student-journalist honor society. At The Paisano, Riley most enjoys writing about social injustices and in her free time, she finds thrifting, writing, art and being around friends to be the most fulfilling. She has published works with both The Paisano Student Newspaper and The Fort Bend Herald Newspaper.
